担任の先生からのweekly update

昨夜担任の先生から親宛にメールがあったそうです。夫から転送されてきました。

Dear Families,

We are so excited about our Zoo Trip on Thursday May 5th. We will be leaving school at 9:00am and returning by 1:00 pm.

If your child is getting a bagged lunch from school the lunches will be ready that morning before we go. If your child is bringing their own lunch it is helpful to put it in disposable containers so they won't have to worry about losing a lunch box or water bottle. Also, please label it with your child's name.

We will all wear our green class shirts or another shirt that is green. Also, since it is rain or shine please check the weather and dress accordingly. Please do not send any money with your child. We will not have time to visit the gift shop.

Here is a summary of what we will be working on next week.

Reading/writing- Choose a job to research, complete RQ#1.

Math- Chapter 11 measurement

Science/social studies- Continue with reading maps

Fundations- Unit 14 oa, oe, ow

思ったよりも動物園の時間が短いです。
午後戻ったら普段と同じ事をするみたいです。
遠足というよりは、何かの受賞の為に行く感じなのでしょう。
ついでに動物が見られるなら良かったです。

コロナのお陰で、せっかくのアメリカですが外出はしていません。

子供にとって良い思い出になりそうです。
